I'm installing NS for the first time myself and had an issue with a certain bundle. I was instructed that this was caused by installing bundles in the wrong sequence. Therefore I was wondering, is there a list of most important bundles and the right order of installation? FYI I'm doing a European installation, including advanced electronic banking.

Have you got the NetSuite SuiteApps License Client (Bundle 116144) installed? We're making some changes to our accounting procedures at the moment and had to install this before electronic banking. We tried asking Netsuite for guidance, but 6 weeks later are still none the wiser.

Yes, I forgot to install that bundle (116144). I was advised to install it, but was warned that installing it in this order might affect functionality.

Having the bundle installed in the wrong order for those two hasn't ever given me any grief.
The Suite Tax bundles - yeah, there's instructions on the installation for that... but you likely aren't installing that as an end user.
I don't think I've ever encountered a dependency outside of the Suite Tax bundles though.

Kevin thanks for that. However I also installed a number of Tax bundles as well. 1st: 237699 (Tax reporting framework) and 2nd (43003; International tax reports. Is that ok?

I know the first one will give you grief potentially.
That's one of the Suite Tax bundles.
That said - if you are using a 3rd party for tax calculations (i.e. no NS bundle) you may be fine.
I would express a reminder of caution when it comes to installing bundles - if you don't know what a bundle does exactly, or why you'd be installing it, don't install it.
There's a reason people pay good money for consultants to help with the process.

ok, thanks for the help
