I actually have it set to 25 and still the search would perform itself if I type something in the dropdown. As a Dev I usually don't need the Drag and drop so have disabled it. The colors for SandBox and Production are differently set to identify them and don't commit anything stupid in Production. Enabled the Internal ID View (of course this is first thing I did, lol) Then there are certain other things I set up for the logs which is not essentially a preference. It's for viewing 5 Days Older logs I created a view. That's as far as I went with Personalization. And the Dashboard is something you should consider setting up in your own way with the data you usually want. Saves time.
