Does anyone have a template to give to staff where they can define their Advanced PDF requirements? I built a few new PDFs after coming on board and now other team members / departments are asking for more. In an effort to slow it down and understand their asks, I want to give them a document they can fill out with fields, sublists, etc. I'm just an admin, not a consultant so I was hoping to lean on consultants in the forum who may have one already built, tried and true.

@rudler sorry, I dont understand?

@NS Admin I haven't come up with anything like that, what typically has worked the best for me in the past is just asking for a mockup of what they want it to look like

@al3xicon yeah, that is what I have been doing as well; but I get junk...haha

True. Sometimes I will print out my own copy of a current form, have a meeting w/ them to discuss changes, mock it up, scan it and email to them for confirmation/approval. Always seems to be an uphill battle to tease requirements out of folks, they'd rather have you do the work based on little input and then complain until, 7 versions later, it's mostly how they want it.

The problem with a form like you are hoping for is it requires critical thinking by the requestor to fill out properly and, well...

I use Adobe Acrobat to make their proposed changes on the PDF and get their confirmation.

I include a question for them to include samples of something similar. That gives them a starting point
