@PlanetJupiter are the fields actually custom Item fields (and not custom Transaction Line fields) ? If so, then this is a limitation I have run into before. One solution is to make corresponding custom transaction line fields (make store value unchecked) that source the values from the custom items fields. Then you will be able to use the transaction line custom fields in the PDF template.
