thank you @scottvonduhn, I currently have the PDF created under the Custom PDF Layout and not the Advanced PDF/HTML template. I know how to access the source code on the Advanced PDF/HTML page. Would you hapent to konw if it's possible to migrate a Custom PDF Layout to Advanced PDF/HTML?

Ah, yes the older PDF templates have different limitations. For that reason we have fully switched to Advanced PDF’s a few years back. At that time, I couldn’t find a good way to migrate the templates over, we basically re-built them from scratch. IF you just want something that looks similar, it shouldn’t take very long, however if you want to copy the look exactly, it could take a while to get it just right.
However, if you want to keep using the older PDF templates, but still do what you want, the best approach would probably be to create a formula text field on the record type. The formula might look something like this (untested):
