Yes you can add lines to the tables. What are you trying to accomplish? For phone number formatting, I'd suggest looking at new Phone Number Formatting feature introduced in the previous release.

Our quote form does not show any lines in the itemized table. Trying to create borders in each column as our other pdf forms.
