that is a bummer, you'd expect the form pref to carry through to that pop-up. i know client-side scripts do work on that page (the 'message' record type) - perhaps a client script could set it? not what you asked i know, and not ideal...
m
Unless something changed recently you can't deploy client scripts to message record. I had to do something very similar a couple years ago and ended up using a user event script to add an inlinehtml that injected my client code. Fyi @creece

You can for sure script message records i've done it before
oh sorry client scripts... yes, you're correct. I just tried it to double check and it wouldn't let me deploy against a Message record
UE script can be deployed though just verified
a
oh i had it backwards - my bad - i was remembering that one of them worked on message records and not the other and i thought for whatever reason that client worked, guess it's only UE
i've done small stuff to default a given CC or whatever when that popup comes up but that's about it
c
Yeah thats the same stuff i've done
Didn't they just get rid of that inlinehtml hack?
m
They blocked html tags in saved search results (which was a pretty glaring xss vulnerability) last release. I'm not aware of anything regarding inline html fields.
