does anyone know why the below in my pdf will prevent the pdf from flattening when trying to print from Adobe (but only when emailed):
<table class="footer" style="width: 100%"><tr><td>This electronic invoice is bound by My Company standard trade conditions which is available for download at <a href="<https://www.mycompany.com/my_terms.pdf>"><https://mycompany.com/my_terms.pdf></a></td></tr></table>
s
what do you mean by flattening?
p
So when the invoice is sent via email and is downloaded by the receiver and opened in acrobat you see a message pop up that says the pdf is flattening but the fails and another message appears that says: An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.

funky.. and if you remove the footer, you don’t get the message?
p
If I remove the <a ref> I no longer get that message and can print the invoice (via acrobat).
s
Maybe try changing the text in the tag to read ‘Terms of Service’?

@pen one I know this is a few months old, but I am having the same issue in Adobe. Did you ever figure out what was wrong with the <a href> tag?
p
i ended up taking out the href all together. the url though was clickable and did work.

That fixed in Adobe, thank you!
