Is there a way (via advanced pdf template or otherwise) to include the Customer name on statement emails? Right now when we mass email statements (Transactions > Customer > Generate Statements) the outgoing subject line just reads "Statement as of MM/DD/YYYY" which causes some issues when a client replies but doesn't have their name in the signature. I don't see a preference or setup option to add the Name field to the subject line, is there any workaround?

Maybe try workflow to send them instead? Then you can use an email template

Would that still allow us to mass email statements to multiple customers at once? Where would workflow 'live'?

You could do that. It would just require some creative solutions with a custom field on your customer. More to it than I can get into on chat.
