I guess what I am curious to know is, whether

record.custbody_custom_values

is really treated as an array or a string. I would expect it to be returned as a string, that you'd have to further process with

?split(", ")

to turn into an array.

${record.custbody_custom_values?split(", ")[0]}

returns the error above, though?
