@Amanda Flynn Chrome has a custom PDF plugin that's really far from what Adobe Acrobat is. For most part it works the same or very similar, but sometimes it's quite far apart. Mostly special characters get broken in the browser plugins. Your use case should however be achievable even in the browser plugins.
