@alien4u yes I made sure that those roles in question had the edit/edit permissions on the custom field definitions (both item and transaction line types) and I’m happy to report that it now works! Thanks! Gotta hand it to NS devs who couldn’t find a more appropriate error message to display for this particular error which had nothing to do with the type of saved search and had to do more with custom field permissions.
