I recommend it! Implementing a batch processing script over the last eight months has secured my position at my company for years to come. It's not without its headaches though. I started with a UE->client->suitelet script chain for printing off one at a time and eventually constructed a suitelet->scheduled script chain to avoid erroring out for governance reasons. Biggest project I've ever worked on.
