Hmmm, I can't imagine not keeping up to date with webstorm so I guess I'll continue to use the sdf cli for the most part (rather than the apparently brittle plugin)

I guess if you no longer have the installation file for the previous version of WebStorm you'll regret updating

You can always download previous versions of webstorm from their web.

Actually, must better (IMHO) is to use the jetbrains toolbox which easily manages multiple versions of webstorm simultaneously.
