Yes. If you do a browser based authentication with the tools, everything is automatic. You don't need to install any bundle.

suitecloud account:setup

? if i don't use browser based, instead of i created my token manually in NS and key in during the account:setup , do i still need the bundle above ?

If you see,

suitecloud development integration

in the application dropdown when generating the token, then you dont need to install anything else. If you don't see that, then you will need that bundle.
