I'm attempting to import Objects and Include the Record Instances for custom record types. I'm not finding anyway to do this through the CLI or SDF plugin.

You can import the object with plugin. And then try to update the object, you will see an option to include instances.

Ok, should I update the object with the CLI?

Likewise there is a command in sdfcli.
But this is not yet available in Suitecloud Node CLI.

Try webstorm. Right click on object &gt; Netsuite &gt; Update from account. There will be a popup regarding instances

any idea when/if it's a feature coming to the Node CLI <@UFUCXSXCJ>?

and when you say sdfcli, are you referring to the CLI for Java? <@UFUCXSXCJ>

not speaking for him but yes I think that is what he means - the Java version is 'sdfcli' per the old command name. maybe we should similarly refer to the node version as simply _suitecloud_?

<@U5375UUJ2> Yes it will come soon to Suitecloud Cli for nodejs.
It was in our backlog for a while but now it has  moved up.

Sdfcli = java cli = old cli
Node cli = suitecloud cli for nodejs = new interactive cli
