Does anyone know of a way to download custom objects and specifically include record instances using SDF with Webstorm? I know this can be done manually through the account

When you update a single xml for a custom record, you should get a dialog asking if you want to include instances in webstorm plugin

does this option only appear for account customization projects? it doesnt appear for me when importing objects (even single) when working with a suiteapp project?

Hmm, don't know. I usually only work on account customization projects.

update: working for me with acct cust project so i will use a shell project to copy over

so, first you will need to import it from the account, and the Updating the Custom Object with Instances

hi <@UEU3GRP5M>, after importing custom objects from the account into a SuiteApp project, the tool doesn't seem to recognize the objects. when i try to update the object it says that it does not exist

that is definitely something new ... is it a custom record type?

it seems to persist across all custom object types. here is the view from the SDF logs

does that happen for all objects that you might want to update?
