Has anyone here successfully migrated a large SuiteApp with a wide install base to an SDF SuiteApp? Is this even possible? Has NetSuite provided any instructions? All the examples we've seen so far talk about converting an existing bundle to an SDF SuiteApp, but don't provide a solution for migrating the existing install base to the new SDF SuiteApp We're mainly concerned about custom objects such as records and fields. The new SDF SuiteApp should take ownership of the existing records and fields, allowing the legacy bundle to be uninstalled (or abandoned).

@Josh We've battled with NetSuite to try and get a Migration path/paln/document with no luck

Thanks for the feedback @darrenhillconsulting. Are you waiting for an upgrade path, or are you managing two versions of your SuiteApp?

Managing 2 versions and trying to come up with a migration plan ourselves

@darrenhillconsulting Is it possible for an SDF SuiteApp to take ownership of existing custom records and fields (adding the Publisher Id and App Id)? If so, what happens when the SDF SuiteApp is then installed in an account which already has identically named records fields from the legacy bundle?
