SDF Pulling Template with the Wrong Type: • The Template is working properly in Sandbox but being pulled with
standard="STDTMPLEMPTY">
If I try to update it to the right type(
standard="STDTMPLCUSTINVC">
) I get this error when I try to deploy it: An error occured during validation of Custom Objects against the account (custtmpl_132_3844473_sb1_908) Details: The standard attribute value, STDTMPLEMPTY, cannot be modified.

Thanks Alien, I will share it tomorrow with the team

@alien4u when you see the XML in Netsuite, which value is there?
a
@Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) This is what I see in the XML: <advancedpdftemplate scriptid*="custtmpl_132_3844473_sb1_908" standard=*"STDTMPLEMPTY"*>* However in the UI the Template is correctly identified as Type = Invoice and it does work properly in Sandbox without any issue.

Is it possible to download xml from the UI. Just to make sure what value is represented there. I am not familiar with this, so just gathering information to forward the concerned team to get their reply.

This is downloading the XML in the UI ^^^
a
Oh ok.
Got it thanks. Will update you when i get some info
a
Thanks.

The team says this value can't be modified exactly like the error says. They can explain more but they will need the xml. You can DM me the XML or you can open a case with netsuite support to get direct answers from them.

The same problem : I am working on transferring templates between two accounts. After transfer, I found one template unnecessary at destination account. Edit on UI does not work, an error message received. Trying to change standard to anything else, return validation error Can not be changed
a
@Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) Is not possible to EDIT or delete the template from the target account from the UI and is not possible to update the
standard="STDTMPLEMPTY"
as you mentioned after is was already created... so this is kind of a hard BUG.
a
You can remove it from the suiteapp and deploy, it will be deleted from account as well. And its vy design you can't edit it once its deployed
You can open an NS issue if it's impacting you. So they will atleast priorities it.
