Anybody have issues with Eclipse SuiteCloud IDE and Mac OS Big Sur? Upgraded and now I can’t run Eclipse. . .
This is a bug frustration. @Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) Any clue how to install and run in Big Sur? Please? It’s a bit pressing.

I cycle through different issues. Either no NS menus appear at all (under 1 version of Eclipse, the latest downloaded one) or (on an earlier version, I forget but I believe 2019 Mars) I can get the menu to appear, but no actions work (including even the most basic, Authenticate Master Password, or even show me the Log file).
It’s horrible, because I’m trying to manage on an older machine, or even replace the IDE altogether using Node CLI, but I can’t even get that going. I generally work in VS Code and then come to Eclipse only when necessary (SDF)

Please check the helpdocs, the pre-requisites You need Eclipse Mars 2 with Java 8 on your machine. What is your node version and OS where you are trying this? Which terminal you are running this command from?

Well, i now have Java 11 on my machine and was able to get node cli working! thanks. I’ll see if I can get Eclipse working after this. Thanks! (It may just be worth getting used to CLI)
Thanks, again - I had to modify the Eclipse plist file to point it to the specific version of Java (JDK 8 ) executable and then it seems to now be working.
