There is a feature to issue a token to authenticate when deploying to an account or uploading files. I'm using an Administrator account and when attempting to issue the token on this particular account, it tells me I need to use 2FA.

I had to manually create the token using the My Access Tokens page.

From the NetSuite Home Page, bottom left, under Settings > Manage Access Tokens. New Access Token > Select SuiteCloud Development Integration as the application. Click Save.

you can use admin roles, but I think if 2FA is enabled on the account you have to issue the token by hand as Kevin mentioned.

But there is browser based Authentication in JavaCLI, NodeCLI, WebStorm and you can complete the 2fa challenge without any failure. Or do you guys have another problem?
