In short, the `suitecloud project:deploy -c -v` (combined validate/deploy) isn't ideal?  I'm not sure why my project would failed a 'client-side' validation ... but pass a server-side validation.

Because client-side validation is useless in it's current state and always gives false-positives

It's also misaligned with server-side validation, so if you fix what client-side validation thinks is wrong - you'll get error from server when deploying
