I am also super intresseted in knowing this, am currently using WS 2019.1 + Netsuite SuiteCloud Plugin 2019.2.1 due to java 11 issues but would really like using the newest version 🙂
a
@stalbert yes. Announcing it here in a few minutes
m
working w/ 2019.3 for me
a
@Merik Ducker happy to hear that you like it.
New suitecloud plugin 20.1 should work out of the box with webstorm 19.3 version
s
nice. I might actually start using it (to date, I've just stuck with sdfcli to avoid issues)

Give it a try and send us your feedback so we can improve the developer experience. Rest assured there are constant efforts going on to completely revamp the developer experience in our tools, specially WebStorm and NodeCLI.. We have taken first few steps in the newest release and will be more significant ones in next release

it is great to see increasingly modern tooling from NetSuite!

Hey @Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) just confirming. My account is not on 2020.1 so I can't make the switch until that time correct?
a
You can switch. But if you try to use a functionality which is not supported in your NS account, you will receive some errors. I dont suspect any major issues. You can give it a try, and if you have problems you can switch back to the previous version until your account is updated to 20.1

Perfect updated to 2020.1 Plugin and still able to deploy to a 2019.2 account. I suspect my current use of SDF won't cause any issues with my acccount not yet being 2020.1. Thanks .
