I've modified 2 scripts and added 3 custom fields. I want to deploy them. I think, I have to add them to deploy.xml and validate against account. I can all be wrong. When I did that, I got a lot of error message with Manifest. What did I do wrong ?

What exactly were the error messages? Have you added the dependencies to the manifest?

I think it's the dependencies. I'm getting quite confuse with Dependencies, manifest, etc... I just modified 2 scripts and created 3 custom fields and want to deploy to QA. I know I'm new to it but I thought it would be quite easier. but again, I'm new to it

Hehe not easy when it's all new 🙂.. try right clicking in the manifest file and there should be an option called something like "Add dependencies" or something like that
