Webstorm SuiteCloud IDE: TBA: Sandbox OK, Prod can't connect. Please forgive me if this issue has been raised too many times already: I don't mean to spam you! I would be very grateful even if all you can spare is a URL and a friendly "RTFM." To give you an idea of my prior experience: I was an eclipse + SuiteCloud IDE user for a long time. I had successful periods of use punctuated by maddening problems related to authentication. I used SDF CLI to a lesser exent. Today I installed Webstorm and the SuiteCloud IDE plug-in. Had no trouble connecting to the Sandbox, pushing and pulling files, pushing and pulling objects, validating the project, etc. Problems began when I went to validate and deploy to Production. I was able to validate the project against Production once (maybe twice?) and after that have had nothing but errors. I reissued the token. Tore down the integration made a new one. Disabled the TBA integration and created a new integration for use w user creds. Executed "Reset Master Password and Account Information" function in SuiteCloud IDE. Audited the role for possibly overlooked 2FA perms to disable. I even created a new Employee record, in case it was something related to my user (e.g., too many successive failed log-ins). I'm stumped. I skimmed the foregoing dialogue and gather that there may still be issues using TBA and switch between Prod & Sandobox environments. Is that true? Could you point me in the direction of information that might help? Do you have advice or recommendations on how to proceed?

Can you please provide some more info on what kind of errors you are getting while deploying?

And for switching in between production and sandbox. If you want to have tokens for both at the same time, try issuing tokens for different roles. For example in production issue a token for admin and for sandbox issue token for dev or any custom role. There is a known issue when you might have problems if you issue token for same roles in production and sandbox.

@Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) Thank you so much. Indeed, authentication in Production failed, because I was using the same role in the Sandbox. I assigned a different SDF-enabled role to my Production user, generated a new access token for that user-role pair, updated the SuiteCloud IDE configuration with the new token, and was able to connect successfully and validate the project.
Actually there were two issues: (1) what you mentioned, the need for distinct roles and (2) what @battk mentioned on the main thread, which is the need to use the integration included in with SuiteBundle 245955 (for NSCR 253647).
