- 1-1 mapping with Java CLI commands in non-interactive mode
- Critical commands available also in interactive mode
- Let users extend CLI commands. For instance, you may want to run tests when you do "sdf deploy". You will be able to do that through an extension point to the deploy command
- Ability to configure different project folders for coding and for deploying. For instance, code is in your "src" folder but the deployable code is in "dist" folder (this is especially relevant if you code in TypeScript and need to transpile code)
- Scaffolding for project structure, scripts and SDF objects
