since sdf is going with nodejs, is there plans to have some sort of testing tools for the scripts we develop ? (ex.: having mocks of all modules and netsuite objects for unit tests, mock environment within a NetSuite instance that doesn't create/edit records but runs on existing instance data, ...)

Its in our path, is not there yet but is under serious considerations.
