@Carlos Olivares (NS DevTools PM) I strongly believe the community will benefit much more if NetSuite focuses on platform agnostic improvements to the tooling. E.g. instead of choosing eclipse and webstorm, focus on SDFCLI and the community will come up with plugins for ides they use. Make jsdoc conform to standards so that all IDEs can use it for autocomplete.

if Oracle incorporates Graal with NS then it’ll be language agnostic, anyways

+1 JSDoc too. I have to say the CLI is already pretty decent. Obviously a single file upload or a watch mode would be great but other then that it seem to work great

I definitely want the CLI decoupled from Java.. it should be node based IMO

That would be great. Especially that currently you need to manual extract files from a jar etc which makes it not a one download kind of installation

Hello guys. We are currently working in this things, the improvement of the SDFCLI is a core product that will be evolving over time, on the other hand we are also investing time to come with a solid and modern CLI that is not based on Java. JSDocs is also touched so the autocomplete will work better soon.

Btw I just want to mention after working on a different ERP that also claims to have great developer support I miss a lot of the tools and resources Netsuite offers!!!
