@Carlos Olivares (NS DevTools PM) Welcome. My wish was for a more 'communicative/responsive' channel with NetSuite Dev Tools. My hope is your introduction will help in that regard. It seems the SDF plugins rarely, if ever, get updated. So many (including myself) attempt to use Best Practices with NetSuite Dev ... particularly try to adopt SDF ... which ultimately fails/frustrates. So we revert to our own processes. Do you feel these plugins will evolve more rapidly now? Not so much with new features, but more stability and robustness? The 'ignoring' the node_modules folder seems like a small thing, but the effect is enormous. It also seems like something that could be easily implemented/released, but falls of deaf ears. Apologies for the rant but its rare to have someone to rant to.

@darrenhillconsulting I truly believe our tools (Plugins, SDF, CLI) will improve, Oracle Netsuite is investing in improving and making things better, so because of this we are growing and have new teams assigned to each area (for instance DevTools in which I am as PM we have a brand new team dedicated to this), but this is a evolving product that is hugely complex, so changes are not deployed as often as we would like, so in the long term I can say that we will provide better tools, more robust, and way much stable, but each improvement has his own dependencies and needs. For now I can share with you all that we are working on stabilize and make each flow more trustworthy, the node_modules is already in our path to be delivered in our next iteration, its already in place to be started after this release.
What is 100% sure, is that as any other software, there are many things that can be improved and we are investing time and resources to make things right. This is why I am here, so I can get your input and defend your interest and put those request upfront when is needed.

At any case, please dont hesitate in ping me, or send me a PM at any moment, if you have a problem, bug to report, complain, or even better an idea of what can be added to improve the tools, just let me know that I will be your voice
