@chris Ok, I understand what you're saying, sounds like what eric is suggesting as well. You must have some automation on git operations (and I know you do because I believe I talked to you at suiteworld 😉). I think I have two considerations on this, one is that I don't want to over encumber the other devs on my team, there are only 3 of us, and we don't have the automation to be merging pull requests throughout the day so that all devs always have up to date copies of master. The other thing is that even in your flow there's still nothing preventing a new developer from forgetting to change is deploy.xml and overwriting everyone else..
