Hi, I set a fixed bid milestone project and I wish to invoice that directly via the project (without an intermediary Sales Order). When I click New Invoice from the project, the invoice does not pick up the item or the quantity based on the billing schedule. Is the use of a Sales Order required for invoicing fixed bid milestone projects?

Yup. Billing schedules tie the project to the sales order. That’s their only purpose as far as I’m aware.
