Does anyone know what the Units (%) column is used for when assignee a resource to a Project Task?

that field reflects how much of this project they are responsible for

hmmmm, so if there is more than 1 resource assigned does it auto-calculate the percentage?  If not, do you know how NS uses this field?

It's a free form text, so you can put any number and it will save it

I think this more for PMs to see how much a person is responsible for this project

I wish NetSuite had a field level help at Columns but unfortunately they don't

I always thought this field was where you identified the % of the employee’s weekly schedule (per the work calendar) that was dedicated to this assignment.  If I remember right, units + work calendar + estimated work  for all assignees all smash together to calculate the task end date.  Another unfortunate example of NS assuming they know exactly how everyone manages projects (who uses work calendars?!?)
