Happy new year everybody!!! Here’s a quick one. I’m finding that the ‘Actual Work’ system-calculated field on projects is not ignoring rejected time entries. Is there a workaround for this OTHER than deleting the rejected time entries? Worth submitting a case or no?

You could probably create a saved search field to get a result that excludes rejected time entries.

yup. absolutely. Just wondering why the standard field doesn’t OR if there’s a way to MAKE it do that.

I wouldn't count on a way to make it do that.

Issue with using a saved search field is that it doesn’t fix the ‘remaining work’ calculated field being incorrectly calculated, so now I’m playing whack a mole with native fields/reports

I can't speak to why - or if it's actually the expected behavior - you can certainly submit a case/look at the user guides/field help to validate

FWIW - confirmed with NS this isn’t standard behaviour. enhancement request to have a calculated field produce an accurate result…. smh
