Hello,  does anyone have the page link to invoke the inventory costing engine? I want to manually run costing outside of the custom schedule

The inventory costing engine,  same engine runs whether it's on FIFO, Specific,  Standard etc

Hmm that you can run it under list &gt; accounting &gt;planned standard cost roll up and then revalue inventory.

That's way I do it manually 

With Standard cost you get the cost accounting elements

That is to revalue your inventory.  I need to invoke the costing engine that updates the GL impact on transactions

Yes,  because you are resetting the item rate

Your inventory on hand is getting revalued based on whatever you put in your cost version (standard cost,  average,  purchase price) then setting that field value as the current on hand rate

<@UHR3WKK2T> There's no way to manually trigger it. However you can influence the schedule under Setup &gt; Accounting &gt; Inventory Costing Preferences

Word of caution: If you are using After Transaction Entry and have a large amount of transaction lines, there could be performance issues. Additionally, if you make an edit in the past and influence a lot of forward looking transactions the same could occur. I'd strongly recommend letting it run nightly.

Thank you,  at one point there was a SA that gave the address to the page that triggers the costing engine.  I agree with influencing by adjusting the accounting preferences,  however,  I'm looking for a way to track immediate updates for a customized FIFO application
