I have a bins question: Let's say we created a purchase order for an item ("Item2021") and then successfully received it into an item receipt to different locations:

Warehouse 1 (BIN01)

, and

Warehouse 2 (no bin)

. And then some time after this purchase order's item receipt, we need to transfer a quantity of 10 from

Warehouse 2 (no bin)

to

Warehouse 1 (BIN 01)

. What kind of transaction do we need to do to achieve this? We can't seem to do an inventory transfer (and not even an inventory adjustment via negative quantities) without running into this

The number of bins entered (0) is not equal to the item quantity (10)

Would this be actually two transactions, a bin putaway in

Warehouse 1

to get the stock in a bin, then an inventory transfer?

You should be able to do it with an Inventory Transfer in one transaction.
