Hey all! I'm doing an item receipt from an RA where the item will not be restocked. Item uses serial/lot and bins and NetSuite seems to require that I select inventory detail before creation the item receipt. Seems odd to me because it's not being restocked. Is this expected behavior?
My other subsidiary doesn't use serial/lot and does not require inventory detail selection in this way, so maybe it's related to that difference. Any help/thoughts much appreciated!

Would love to know if you find out how. But for what its worth we have the same experience (advanced inventory + not-restocked RA receipt = still have to complete inventory detail)

Yeah since it will not be restocked, you might use dummy serial/lot number, if the item is serial/lot and not restocked NetSuite doesn’t know because you are checking that box irrelevant of inventory detail that’s my 2 cents.

Right. Yeah, dummy info is what we've been using. Would be nice to be able to save the clicks and typing, but doesn't sound possible
