Does anyone know the purpose of assigning a customer in a work order? Aside from attaching the WO to the customer record, I don't see any other ways that this setup could help me. As I see it now, it's like for informational purposes only, hey this WO is supposed to fulfill sales from this customer (but that's it, it isn't automated). Special work orders are helpful though.
