Hello there, is there anyone who knows about CWM (Catch Weight Management) and DUAL-UOM and how to deal with it in NetSuite? Thanks a lot!

If you’re talking about grams to pcs and vice versa I don’t believe that there is a native way to handle it especially since the same number of pieces won’t easily translate to the same number of grams every time.

There is that for the CWM. For the dual-UOM, it's also I have 10 bobbins or yarn, but the total quantity of yarns is 50,000 yds. But each bobbin is not necessarily 5000 yds.

UOMs are probably the most convolute module/feature in NetSuite, last time I checked it was a mess because NetSuite don't have a proper separation of UOMs, Distance, Volume, Weight can all be mixed and that is a recipe madness.

Would you have some sort of workaround please?

In my experience if you/your company don't have a very specific and complicated need for native NetSuite UOMs you will be a lot better creating your own UOM flow/work around with custom fields and customization.

Hummmm... I can see something on transactions, but what about inventory management? 🤔

You can create your own custom Item, Bin, Transactions fields and with some scripting create your own UOM customization without using NetSuite native UOM. It not an easy process but with a good design/implementation it would save you from the native NetSuite UOM madness...
