hi all. I have 3 subsidiaries within netsuite, all separate businesses and individual inventories. However we often sell items from 1 subsidiary to a customer in another subsidiary. I want to be able to assign the item to multiple subsidiaries so i dont have to setup a new item in each subsidiary however i would prefer there to be a primary subsidiary for the items for reporting purposes. If i select that the item has multiple subsidiaries it will show up in the reports for each subsidiary whereas it really belongs to the one subsidiary and we just occasionally sell under the others. Any thoughts on how to handle this?
