Hi, we are looking for a solution for using Special Work Order items in an Intercompany environment. These are Assembly items (marked as Special Work Order Items) entered on Sales Orders for the German Sales Subsidiary, and created via Work Orders in the Dutch Manufacturing Subsidiary. Ideally, the Work Orders are directly created from each Sales Order item line as Make to Order. So when the Work Order is completed it is directly committed to the Sales Order item line. The subsidiary on the Sales Order header is the German Sales Subsidiary and the subsidiary on the Sales Order item lines is the Dutch Manufacturing Subsidiary. This works when we are in just one subsidiary, so when the header subsidiary and the item line subsidiary is the same. But it does not work when the subsidiaries are different. We tried the standard Intercompany feature with the Drop Shipments, and also the Intercompany Cross-Subsidiary Fulfillment feature. But both do not work in the above mentioned scenario. Does anybody has an alternative solution for this? Thanks.
