@Christian W.. You could probably do this with advanced PDF template - but it won't be easy because there's no native column for "picked but not shipped". you might be able to torture a column to show the amount that is in that state, and then use that to surpess columns on your pick ticket. Or you could use a standard template and display that column and trust your pickers to do a little looking/reading. That solution is likely very challenging, so I'd probably focus on avoiding the situation as best I could though by trying to shorten the fulfillment cycle, or by providing to your staff some report that shows what orders have been partially picked, but not shipped.

Strange that nobody is experiencing the same issue. Anyway I was also thinking about temporarily setting the partly picked item fulfillments to shipped. Print new picking tickets and then. Reverse them back to their previous state.
k
I'm sure there are others that are. The clients I've worked with that used pick tickets had enough process controls in place to prevent it from occurring. (for example automated pick ticket printing or printing pick tickets once per day and completing the shipping process in that day.

Thanks Kevin, we are indeed thinking to move away from paper picking tickets and pick electronically. Then we don’t have this issue at all.

@Christian W. What we did with RF Smart. Works pretty decent.
(minus the shipping component of it, do not recommend rfsmart for that)
c
@TwoStep Do you still use paper based pick tickets then or is everything electronic now with RF-Smart? We looked at RF-Smart a while back but did not find a match that was big enough.

I’m a bit late to the convo, but we had the same issue. We work around it by using the “remaining” field on our picking tickets instead of “committed”. The other items still show, but they display zero qty, so at least they don’t get picked.

Ah, that's a good tip. I'll look into that. thanks @Katy
