I'm trying to design a way to have Components on Work Orders with

COMMIT

= Not Committed and a Custom Column to Hold the Purchase Order where that component is coming... Once the Purchase Order is received the

COMMIT

columns for the related lines would change to Complete Qty... I think that is doable, my problem is while I wait for the Purchase Order to be received how do I calculate my inventory levels? because the pieces of those components would show as

ON ORDER

but those pieces are not really On ORDER because they belong to the related Work Order lines... Any ideas?
