You can create a lot of defaulting via workflow, that's what we did. For the most part, our CSR's and partners don't set locations, it defaults based on customer location and/or preference. If you often ship from multiple warehouses on single orders though, you might run into issues that can only be automated by using some sort of WMS, which, of course, means more $$. Yay SaaS!
