The packing slip is generated from the item fulfillment. I haven’t heard of a way to get a packing slip any other way.

when we had a bare bones version of netsuite it allowed you to print a packing slip directly from an invoice. not a deal breaker. just a few extra steps to get the slip 😉 thanks

Should be in the accounting settings section. Under transactions.

hmmm even with 'invoice in advanced of fulfillment' checked we still cannot access packing slips from an invoice. it looks like we are still required to create a sales order, fulfill the order, invoice the sales order, then print the packing slip

It's strange as we use the same method as you but can print packing slip once fulfillment has been marked as packed.

Yeah that you cannot do. The only thing you could do is get an advanced pdf template setup for the invoice but rename it all to packing slip and then get a button scripted to show on the invoice transaction so that when you press it it loads a packing slip to print.

hmmm thank you for the suggestion. we might need to go through the hassle of scripting a button. i appreciate the info.
