Looking for help in understanding the Supply Allocation strategies and how to set it to work for SO, WO, POs, ... Seems like there are a lot of places this impacts. I see it on the SO and the WO. What happens when dates change for the SO? Does it flow through to the WO and then recalculate. How can I see an Horizon report that will show all POs and WO and inventory and when we will be underwater if we don't order. So many questions. How do I find an expert that I can pay to help me through all this?

We tested supply allocation and found it only works for “1 level”. So it will only show you if something is going to be late for the SO, but doesn’t drill down through the related WO and sub assemblies to see if components of sub assemblies are going to drive the SO to be late. So it becomes a process thing (working from the bottom up) Set you dates on your “lowest level” WO then go up to your next level and so on until you get to your SO To get the data you are looking for, then the MRP system will help with planning that out through multi levels of WOs
