I just took and passed Certified consultant - it was several orders of magnitude more difficult than the SuiteFoundation certification. That said, Dilbert, if your focus is solely on the developer side, you may struggle with SuiteFoundation, as other developers I've worked with have struggled a bit. @NickSuite If you are familiar with all areas of the sample test on the NS website (and not just with the direct answers) you may be ok.

I work with folks who code for NS full time - they don't really do any of the functional setup such as features/workflows/standard transactions etc.

I was not able to check Slack lately. Well I do work on Standard Transactions/workflows, enable features and accounting preferences.
