Any recommended NetSuite books anyone has read recently? Also, what kind of info can be expected from these books that are not in either the Help section or SuiteAnswers?

nothing in particular for now. Just saw that there are some books on NetSuite in amazon and I'm wondering if they're worth buying and what kind of information I can get there that are not found in either the User Guides or SuiteAnswers, which tries to be as comprehensive as possible. Any recommended ones that you've read/bought?

I haven't bought any NetSuite books from Amazon so I couldn't comment on that. I'm curious to know why you'd like to buy a book rather than do practical exercises yourself, as that's the most effective way to learn.

Exactly. Which is why I'm wondering what's the point of publishing these books if everything is already available online π unless I'm missing something. The books aren't cheap so my first thought is that they contain valuable and exclusive information/tips which I wanted to confirm with anyone who has bought them. Wouldn't want to waste money on a book that just parrots/rewords info already accessible online for free.

We can't blame the authors if they'd like to share their knowledge π I'm sure they have something helpful to say. You can wait for someone to vouch for one of these books but as for me, the best way to learn is to get as much as projects as you can, research, complete it hands-on and ask questions as you go. More powerful than reading a book. π

I think the value of a book about NetSuite is that it offers a guided tour of higher-level concepts. Yeah, itβs all there in gigabytes of Help and Suiteanswers, but where do you start? What questions do you ask? How can I get my head around this stuff first, and then find the specific answers on my own?
