I was wondering does anyone have experience with the ERP cert? Did you find it worthwhile to get on top of the admin cert?
j
@Chris I got the ERP consultant cert prior to the administrator cert. I have found that it does carry a lot more weight than the admin one, but really only with others who are already steeped in the NetSuite ecosystem.
So if your hiring person knows NetSuite then it matters, and if they don't, then all post-SF ones seem to carry equal weight
just IME though, your mileage may vary 😁

ah ok thanks. Given that my company has provided the training. I will probably at least go through ERP fundamentals and the ERP prep course.
j
yeah, the administrator is really "I know how to handle things once they're already up and running in most accounts" whereas the ERP consultant is "I've implemented a variety of NetSuite setups in multiple accounts"
c
Yea, but my current position is admin/accountant. I haven't done much implementation except within our own instance when we have added modules.
Don't think it would hurt though to get it, but I saw they think you should have implemented 5+ systems before sitting for it.

It does ask a lot of questions across the different modules so unless your current company has basically every feature enabled you’d definitely need to do some studying/playing with a demo/dev account
