if you take the official courses from netsuite u are almost guaranteed to pass.
If you prepare by yourself. Suitefoundation is a lot harder than admin tbh and it will be a struggle. Most people dont pass suitefoundation on the first try

Agree on above, I know a few people with 20+ years of programming experience and over 10 years senior developer in NS experience and none of them passed foundations with the first attempt LOL
Also - it seem to be a pattern not only for NS but other orgs as well - if you take official training, you are almost guaranteed you will pass, experienced this several times myself (not for NS though ...)

It is by far cheaper to take the exam quite a few times rather than do the official training. I didnt' pass suitefoundations my first time and I had been developing in netsuite for years. Hardcore end users are going to have a very easy time with ti but if you're just a dev, you don't see nearly the amount of stuff they even ask on it.

the practice exams are pretty decent though if you can go through that and the guide you'll most likely be decently prepared.

I also concur re: practice exams. I did pass Foundations the first time, but I'm a very good test taker (not really a marketable skill...).

It really helps if you remember that nearly every question on the exam for Foundation is pulled verbatim from a SuiteAnswer. Best method I found is to read the study guide and then read the SuiteAnswers for every concept mentioned in the guide, then follow the major links and read those articles. If you have decent reading recall that should help you on NetSuite areas where you do not have direct experience (like product costing for me since I've never worked for a company with inventory).
