Is anyone using intercompany transfer orders ? I think it will solve so many problems but our finance team keep saying no, it's not compliant. Can't understand how others are using it

we use sales order to sale it other subsidiaries

Yes we use the same SP/PO/Fulfilment/Receipt/Invoice/Bill process but it's messy for a small bit of inventory transfer. I can see the Intercompany TO would make it a one step process and reduce a lot of headache for the supply chain team.

Hey @amandeep Not TO but my customers are using SO/PO actively. What’s your main problem maybe something I already faced or we can research.

Main issue is that it's not GAAP accounting

We have a hub and spoke model where inventory moves from our central warehouse to regional warehouses across the world. This means that we have hundreds of inventory transfers across many subsidiaries in a month and the whole process of raising POs and SO and all associated downstream transactions is very open to errors. If we have to stick to PO/SO setup for Arm's length then any automation that users have in place or an addon which helps will be super helpful to understand.
